Summary
The Document Control Coordinator is responsible for maintaining the integrity, compliance, and accessibility of all controlled Quality System Documentation (QSD) and Engineering Change Notice / Order (ECN / ECO) records. This role manages the entire lifecycle of critical documents, ensuring rapid and accurate distribution to support quality standards, engineering efficiency, and manufacturing operations.
Core Responsibilities
- ECN / ECO Management : Process, review, and formally release Engineering Change Notices / Orders (ECN / ECO) in strict accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Engineering Operating Procedures (EOP).
- System Integrity & Compliance : Execute data entry, monitor status, and distribute crucial compliance reports generated from the ECN / ECO database to managers and engineering groups.
- Product Shipment Control : Utilize the Pansophic (MS1829) system to verify, enter, and adjust data related to product shipment hold and release forms, directly impacting the ability to ship final products.
- Archive Management : Oversee the secure storage and controlled retrieval of approved documentation within both the electronic file vaults (PC / CAD Networks) and conventional paper archives.
- Quality Assurance : Proactively analyze and correct discrepancies across all document management systems to ensure users have immediate, accurate access to the current revision level of all controlled documents.
- Logistics & Support : Perform general documentation duties, which include prolonged periods of sitting for data entry, report generation, and the physical handling of document storage boxes (up to 25 lbs).
