Billing Accountant
Goldbelt, Incorporated is seeking a Billing Accountant to support our team. The Billing Accountant will be responsible for accurately preparing invoices, managing billing disputes, monitoring accounts receivable, and ensuring timely collections. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in accounting software. This role requires effective communication with internal teams and clients to resolve billing inquiries and discrepancies.

Minimum Qualifications :
Minimum three (3) or more years of experience in government contract billingExperience with Deltek Costpoint Billing, Account Receivables and Projects ModulePreferred Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or related fieldPrevious experience with government invoicing platforms WAWF, IPPDepartment of State Travel Billing experiencePrevious experience working with Alaska Native Corporations (ANCs) and / or previous exposure to Alaska Native culturesPrevious government contracting experiencePay and Benefits
The salary range for this position is $59,000 to $81,000 annually.

Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions :
Prepare invoices of various types (FFP, T&M, CP, etc.), including a very high volume of travel invoicing and receipt packagingApply cash receipts to Aged AR in Costpoint Identify and resolve billing discrepancies and collections issuesAbility to multi-task with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work effectively and efficiently with minimal supervisionPrepare intercompany invoices for labor and other transactions during the month that cross subsidiariesAnalyze monthly unbilled receivables, research and resolve issuesAssist with closeout activities to include analysis of requests, canceling funds, and final invoicingReview of contracts and modifications to ensure accurate billingMaintaining billing master file Internal and external audit support
