Quality Manager (Automotive)
The Quality Manager (Automotive) will :
- Lead and manage the quality team, including engineers, technicians, inspectors, and second-shift staff
- Oversee all quality assurance activities across production, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 or IATF 16949 standards
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in quality systems, processes, and team performance
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal quality issues and customer concerns
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality procedures and documentation
- Train, mentor, and evaluate quality team members to build technical and leadership capabilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in engineering, production, and supply chain
- Analyze quality data and trends to identify root causes and corrective actions
- Support audits, regulatory inspections, and customer visits
- Ensure inspection processes and standards are consistently applied across shifts
- Maintain a proactive approach to risk management and defect prevention
- Foster a culture of accountability, communication, and continuous learning within the quality team

The successful Quality Manager (Automotive) applicant will have :
Years of quality management experience in a manufacturing environmentStrong background in IATF 16949 requiredProven leadership skills with experience managing and developing quality teamsHands-on experience with quality tools such as root cause analysis, CAPA, FMEA, and SPCFamiliarity with metal stamping, machining, or assembly operations is a plusExcellent communication and interpersonal skills across all levels of the organizationExperience supporting customer audits, internal audits, and regulatory complianceAbility to analyze data and drive process improvements based on findingsStrong organizational and documentation skillsComfortable managing across multiple shifts and functionsDemonstrated ability to build a positive team culture and resolve personnel challengesExperience in high-mix, precision manufacturing environments preferredThe Quality Manager (Automotive) will receive :
