Fence Contractor Website Design

Overview

We are working with Fence Pro, a local fencing and automatic gate installer, and we need a new website design.

We are web developers based in Stockton, CA, USA. Most of our projects follow the same process. We custom-code all of our websites in-house. We don't require a specific tool for design, but we prefer Figma files.

For any design we label as four-stars, we send it to the client for review. The client selects the final design. After this process, we may show four-star designs to additional clients and purchase them later. Your designs will have multiple chances to sell. Please follow these guidelines to improve your chances of success.

Guidelines

• Images

If you use images or icons, provide a link to the asset so we can purchase it. Designs we submit often do not include customer images unless provided. Be creative and convey the intended feeling with your image choices. You may use any royalty-free source. We subscribe to Adobe and commonly use their images, but we can purchase images outside of Adobe.

Do not submit designs to clients with watermarks.

Identify the fonts used in the design. This can be included in a message. We typically use Google Fonts and Adobe Fonts.

We are open to different content and ideas. We often use stock images so the client can see our vision. We typically take pictures after the website launch to use with our vision. Lorem Ipsum is acceptable for paragraphs, but headers should be in correct English. We want to clearly show the vision and identify the sections of the website.

We usually include a few links in the brief of websites we like to help you start the design.

We do not commonly request revisions unless something may not appeal to the client. If minor changes are needed, we make them during the development process.

We rarely provide feedback during the design process due to workload. We typically respond if your request is well thought out and asks specific questions; a generic request like "feedback, please" may go unanswered.

We request a 1-page design brief as the deliverable.
