Salary : Position Summary
The HR Coordinator supports the Human Resources function across a wide range of responsibilities, includingpayroll administration, recruitment, onboarding, and benefits administration This role is hands-on and people-focused, requiring the ability to balance day-to-day operational needs with building relationships that foster trust and accountability.
The HR Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring HR processes run smoothly, supporting managers and employees, and advancing TMCs mission to provide a best-in-class employee experience while sustaining a high-performance culture.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll & Benefits Administration
- Process and review payroll in collaboration with Finance, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain employee records in BambooHR, including compensation updates, deductions, and premiums.
- Administer benefits programs (medical, dental, vision, 401k, voluntary benefits).
- Support annual open enrollment and employee education on benefit options.
- Manage PTO, leaves of absence, and other time-off programs in compliance with TMC policy and legal requirements.
- Audit payroll and benefits data regularly to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Recruitment & Onboarding
Partner with managers and recruiters to coordinate job postings, interviews, and candidate communication.Facilitate pre-employment processes (background checks, drug screens, etc.).Manage onboarding tasks and orientation to ensure a welcoming experience.Benefits & Leave Administration
Support open enrollment, benefits questions, and day-to-day benefits administration.Administer PTO, FMLA, leaves of absence, and other time-off requests in compliance with company policy and legal requirements.Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).2+ years of HR experience preferred.Knowledge of HR best practices, policies, and employment laws.Experience with HRIS (BambooHR preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.Key Competencies
