Position Responsibilities :
- Take the lead to identify, evaluate, negotiate, and manage strategic partnership deals that support strategic objectives.
- Serve as a key member of the Content Acquisition team in defining and delivering the strategy around content acquisition, new business models, promotional programs, and growing readership around the world.
- Develop business and product requirements, prioritize needs, and manage milestones with input from key stakeholders.
- Establish and execute against selection, operational, and business metrics.
- Deliver results by working with key internal stakeholders (e.g. product management, legal, marketing, and other Content Acquisition teams around the world).
- Prepare and give business reviews to the senior management of Amazon and publishers.
- Identify opportunities for innovation and automation.
- Leverage data analysis to research difficult or ambiguous problems, leading cross-disciplinary teams to drive recommendations to senior leadership.
- Develop and execute against P&L while understanding business trends that impact the bottom line.
Position Requirements :
Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Management, Operations or a related field and one year of experience in the job offered, as a digital content manager, product manager, or a related occupation.Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Management, Operations or a related field and five years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered, as a digital content manager, product manager, or a related occupation.Must have one year of experience in the following skills : (1) analyzing and reacting to emerging trends in the marketplace; (2) working with SQL and other reporting technologies and methods; (3) executing deals and partnerships; and (4) engaging with and influencing senior level executives.Amazon.com is an Equal Opportunity-Affirmative Action Employer Minority / Female / Disability / Veteran / Gender Identity / Sexual Orientation.
40 hours / week, 8 : 00am-5 : 00pm, Salary Range $150,550 / year to $196,700 / year.
