Security Officer - Unarmed Auto Patrol

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Auto Patrol in Louisville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment within an automotive-focused location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the property, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and interacting with employees, visitors, and guests to provide outstanding customer service. You will be instrumental in supporting access control measures, responding to incidents, and documenting any unusual activities. Pay Rate : $18.15 / Hour

Job Schedule :

Day Time Mon 12 : 00 AM - 08 : 00 AM

Tue 12 : 00 AM - 08 : 00 AM

Fri 12 : 00 AM - 08 : 00 AM

Sat 12 : 00 AM - 08 : 00 AM

Sun 12 : 00 AM - 08 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or access.
  • Observe and report any suspicious behaviors or incidents encountered during patrols throughout the automotive facility.
  • Assist visitors, employees, and contractors with directions and information as needed while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Document and communicate any security-related concerns or incidents according to established protocols.
  • Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to promote a secure environment at the location.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
