LHH Recruitment Solutions is hiring an Process Engineer who has great organizational, analytical, problem solving skills, in the City of Commerce.

The candidate for this position will be responsible for monitoring the operations of our systems, including quality and compliance. The candidate should also be able to recommend improvements to the process through the tracking of metrics and reporting of data. The candidate should definitely have strong technical abilities in order to succeed in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct processing trials for physical testing and analysis
  • Process Optimization to increase efficiency
  • Establish process metrics and goals
  • Develop and issue process designs
  • Make recommendations on equipment modification to improve yield

Skills & Attributes :

  • Proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving and process optimization.
  • Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma tools is a plus.
  • Proven ability to assess, evaluate, and implement process improvements that enhance productivity, material utilization, and overall plant yield.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify inefficiencies and recommend actionable solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in leading investigations and implementing corrective actions related to customer complaints.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and statistical software such as Minitab.
  • Ability to draft clear and concise documentation including procedures, work instructions, trial protocols, and technical reports.
