Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Float Discipline : RN Start Date : 11 / 10 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, nights Employment Type : Travel JOB ID : 61047 Position : Med-Surg Float Nurse Requirements : Must be willing to float : This is a Med-Surg float position covering Thompson, Farnum, and Kingsbury units . Travelers may float between units during a shift (e.g., 4 hours in Kingsbury, 8 hours in Farnum). ICU RNs will be considered. 2 years Med-Surg experience required EPIC experience required BSN required Must be able to work in step-down units when needed . Experience with cardiac drips and other step-down practices is required. Traveler must have their own vehicle for this assignment. Permanent address must be included in profile. Role Summary : Coordinates total nursing care for patients, participates in patient and family teaching, and provides leadership by working collaboratively with ancillary nursing staff and other patient care team members to maintain professional nursing standards in the clinical setting. Patient Population : Adult-Geriatric Dress Code : Traveler-provided professional scrubs (no logos) EMR : Epic Compliance / Documentation : All medical / occupational health compliance items must be ordered, collected, and resulted within 5 days of offer acceptance for this client.
