High-Priority Locum Neurosurgery Opportunity - Level 1 Trauma Center, Youngstown, OH Are you a Board Certified Neurosurgeon looking for a high-impact locum tenens position? Join an established program in Youngstown, Ohio, and provide critical coverage for urgent and emergent cases at a designated Level 1 Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center. The Role We are seeking a highly skilled provider for 24-hour call coverage , with a required commitment of a minimum of 7 days per month (7 : 00 AM to 7 : 00 AM shifts). This is an excellent opportunity to make a significant difference in a high-acuity setting. Practice Setting : Inpatient Hospital, Neurosurgery Unit Case Load : Anticipate 1-2 emergent surgical cases daily. Acuity : Focused on Adult and Geriatric patients from the Emergency Department, handling complex trauma. System : Utilize EPIC for documentation. In-House Support : Neuro Interventional Radiology (IR) services are available in-house. Required Procedures Candidates must be proficient across the full spectrum of Adult and Trauma Neurosurgery, including : Cranial : Trauma repair, brain bleed / clot / tumor removal, and shunt procedures. Spine : Spinal fusion, stabilization / reconstruction, laminectomy, diskectomy, vertebroplasty, and kyphoplasty. Requirements Board Certification (ABNS) : Mandatory. License : Active Ohio Medical License is required . Certifications : BLS, ACLS, and Active DEA are also mandatory. Availability : Must provide a specific list of 7-day blocks of availability upon submission.
