Overview

WA Cares Fund Quality Assurance Consultant / Social and Health Program Consultant 4. Join the Home and Community Living Administration (HCLA) in Lacey, WA and help shape the future of long-term services and supports for Washington's most vulnerable residents. HCLA is a newly formed administration within the Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS), bringing together the Developmental Disabilities Administration and the Aging and Long-Term Support Administration. This unified team oversees Washington State's system of long-term care, serving individuals with disabilities and older adults through home and community-based services, protective oversight, regulatory compliance, and case management. This position is fully remote, with occasional in-person meetings, and follows a Monday – Friday schedule.

What You'll Do

• Complete QA process reviews of WCF activities statewide in compliance with policy, WAC and RCW.
• Use a variety of methods to determine case accuracy, evaluating the effectiveness of the system to minimize risk.
• Provide professional consultation to promote excellence in service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state requirements and consistency in policy interpretation.
• Lead your QA team during process review cycles, acting as a liaison between QA and field staff, fostering relationships with customers, and ensuring reviews are accurately and thoroughly completed.
