Accounts Receivable Specialist

The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for collections of outstanding accounts receivable dollars from the existing client base and all other aspects of collections, resolving customer billing problems and reducing accounts receivable delinquency. This position will report to the Accounts Receivable Manager.

This position is a full-time, direct hire position located in (HQ) Columbus, Ohio. Primary Functions & Responsibilities :

• Monitor accounts daily for collection efforts.
• Identify outstanding account receivables.
• Contact clients and discuss their overdue payments.
• Making outbound collection calls in a professional manner while keeping and improving customer relations.
• Investigate historical data for debts and bills.
• Take actions to encourage timely payments.
• Process payments and refunds.
• Resolve billing issues.
• Resolve customer credit issues.
• Update account status records.
• Prepare and present reports on collection activities and progress to management.
• All other duties that may arise to ensure the successful operation of the company.
