Senior Network Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Senior Network Engineer to take ownership of the design, implementation, optimization, and ongoing support of a 24 / 7 multi-site LAN / WAN / WLAN IP infrastructure . This role is critical to ensuring our enterprise network is secure, scalable, and high-performing across all business locations.

As a subject matter expert, you will lead enterprise-level networking projects, mentor junior team members, and establish best practices that shape the future of our IT environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, design, and optimize enterprise-class LAN, WAN, and WLAN solutions.
  • Develop strategies for secure, scalable, and resilient network infrastructures.
  • Translate business requirements into practical technical solutions.
  • Approve and refine architecture designs to meet internal and regulatory standards.
  • Conduct network readiness assessments, utilization trend analysis, and capacity planning.
  • Deploy, configure, and support routers, switches, firewalls, controllers, and wireless access points.
  • Lead infrastructure upgrades and vendor coordination.
  • Maintain detailed documentation, diagrams, and asset inventories.
  • Ensure compliance with PCI-DSS and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Monitor and optimize network performance and security.
  • Troubleshoot complex networking and hardware issues.
  • Mentor and provide technical leadership to IT staff.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of enterprise network engineering experience with Aruba, Cisco, Meraki, SD-WAN, and wireless administration.
  • Advanced expertise in Aruba and Cisco devices, routing / switching, and wireless technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of Palo Alto Firewalls, Aruba ClearPass NAC, and Radius.
  • Proven experience with BGP, HSRP, VSS, VSX, and VLAN design.
  • Hands-on experience with VoIP troubleshooting (wired and wireless).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 administration and VMware vSphere.
  • Experience with cabling standards, terminations, and low-voltage wiring.

    • Preferred Qualifications & Certifications

  • Certifications : CCNP (preferred) / CCNA (minimum).
  • Additional certifications : CCNP Wireless, AWS, Azure (a plus).
  • Experience with Meraki, Linux, Datto, and remote management platforms.
  • PowerShell scripting knowledge.
  • Hospitality technology experience (preferred).
