Total Seed Production is looking for a qualified Diesel Technician / Ag Shop mechanic.

The qualified candidate must have :

  • Strong mechanical ability
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of repairing or replacing all structural, body, and mechanic parts of a heavy-duty diesel truck.
  • Must be proficient with brakes, drivelines, and mechanical engine components on heavy-duty diesel trucks.
  • Experience working on farm machinery / equipment and / or Semi Tractor / Trailers
  • 12-volt electrical diagnostic / repair; DOT inspections
  • Hydraulic system diagnostic / repair
  • Basic computer and record-keeping skills are needed.

Other skills preferred but not required :

  • Experience with GPS installation / operations
  • Welding / repairing of farm machinery
  • Ability to operate farm / seed equipment
  • Heavy equipment operator.

    • Standard work hours are 7 : 00 am to 4 : 00 pm Monday thru Friday but must be willing and able to work long hours and weekends during peak seasons. Having a positive attitude, and the ability to work independently as well as part of the team is a must!
