Job Description "America Reports" is seeking a skilled, experienced and hardworking Producer to join the team. The ideal candidate is detail oriented and has an interest in breaking news. You are a strong writer & excellent under pressure. As a Producer on "America Reports", you will be responsible for executing the show lead, writing live scripts during breaking news and conducting in-depth research. The Producer will serve as a backup to the Line Producer, on occasion.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Pitch guests, stories and segment ideas

Write guest intros, readers and teases

Select elements such as sound, video clips, and graphics to tell a story

Monitor multiple sources for new developments

Build compelling and concise lower thirds throughout the hour

Serve as backup Line Producer when needed

WHAT YOU WILL NEED 4+ years of professional experience in a live television control room

Strong and accurate writing

Line producing training

Thorough knowledge of current events and politics

Experience crafting a rundown

Experience writing / producing / editing news packages

Dalet training

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate / range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $83,000.00-105,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical / dental / vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
