This role involves working in an ambulatory surgery center and requires proficiency in vital signs monitoring, specimen collection processing, and maintaining medical records.

Duties

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in an ambulatory surgery center setting.

Assess patient health by performing physical examinations and obtaining medical histories.

Monitor vital signs and recognize changes in patient conditions, ensuring timely interventions.

Assist with specimen collection processing and ensure proper handling of samples.

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, adhering to safety protocols.

Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient care activities.

Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Provide education to patients and families regarding health management, including infectious disease care.

Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance nursing skills.

Experience

Previous experience in acute care settings is preferred; familiarity with ICU is a plus.

Knowledge of geriatrics and the unique needs of older adults is beneficial.

Strong communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with the healthcare team and patient education.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
