About The Position

Position Description :

  • We are seeking a Board Certified / Board Eligible Primary Care Physician for locum tenens coverage from September 15, 2025, through December 31, 2025. This is an outpatient-only opportunity with no hospital call, code response, or ED backup required.
  • Practice Setting : Family Medicine outpatient clinic
  • Patient Volume : ~22 patients / day
  • Population : Adult, geriatric, and pediatric
  • Support Staff : 1 mid-level provider
  • EMR : Epic

Job Requirements

Procedures Required :

  • General adult & pediatric outpatient care
  • Pelvic exams / Pap smears
  • Minor suturing and incision & drainage (I&D)
  • Requirements :

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
  • Active Virginia medical license – REQUIRED
  • BLS certification – REQUIRED
  • Available for entire coverage period : 9 / 15 / 25 – 12 / 31 / 25
