The Opportunity :

Saint Luke's East in Lee's Summit is seeking a PRN Pre-OP / PACU RN to join their Perianesthesia team. In this position, you will provide pre-operative and post-operative care to patients undergoing procedures within the Main OR and hospital-based GI suites.

Shift Details :

PRN Position. This position takes call and has a 30 minute call response time requirement.

The Work :

Provides pre-operative and post-operative care for inpatient and outpatient procedures.\nUtilizesthe nursing process\nPerformspatient care, delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff\nCoordinatesthe plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes\nDemonstratesproficiency and abides by policies, rules, guidelines and procedures\nJob Requirements

Applicable Experience : \n1 year

Advanced Cardiac Life Support - Healthstream - Healthstream, Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross, Registered Nurse - Various

Associate Degree
