Shape the Flow of High-Precision CNC Production
At Will-Mor Manufacturing, we build complex, tight-tolerance parts for the optical industry. We’re hiring a 2nd-shift CNC leader to supervise 20+ production employees and elevate results through strong coaching, disciplined execution, and continuous improvement.
Role focus
- Team leadership and culture : set expectations, lead by example, and create a supportive, high-accountability environment.
- Production orchestration : partner with Production Control to plan the work, allocate resources, and adjust priorities in real time.
- Process control : track process variables and control points; remove constraints; implement cost and cycle-time reductions.
- Quality enforcement : uphold organizational standards and ensure conformance throughout milling and turning operations.
- Equipment reliability : initiate maintenance and repairs; assess new machines, tooling, and methods for improved throughput.
- Operational visibility : compile, analyze, and present production performance data and KPI trends to leadership.
- Systems and procedures : document, update, and deploy clear work methods, reporting routines, and shop-floor standards.
- Safety and 5S : maintain a clean, orderly, and safe facility; educate and audit the team for compliance.
- People operations : use Paylocity to schedule labor, manage attendance / points, and process time-off requests.
- Professional development : engage in workshops, publications, and industry networking to benchmark best practices.
