π½ Per Diem : $125 / day (3 days per week)

Schedule :
π Hours : 2 days per week, 8-hour shifts
π Required Onsite Day : Wednesday (0700β1300)
Project Scope :
This part-time position involves comprehensive safety oversight for electrical installation and construction activities. The Site Safety Manager will conduct safety audits, review pre-task plans, attend weekly safety meetings, and collaborate with field leadership to ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA 70E, and site-specific safety standards.
Key areas include :
Performing 2 weekly site visits (8-hour days each)
Conducting detailed worker and site safety audits
Identifying unsafe conditions and recommending corrective actions
Attending required Wednesday safety meetings and reporting outcomes
Reviewing and creating PTP forms for daily tasks
Auditing safety plans and creating action plans for corrective measures
Qualifications :
β Associate degree or higher in Health & Safety (minimum 5 years of construction safety experience) or
β CSP certification (minimum 3 years of relevant safety experience) or
β OSHA 500 Instructor certification (minimum 10 years of full-time construction safety experience)
β Strong knowledge of electrical installation, NFPA 70E, and Lockout / Tagout (LOTO) procedures
β Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities :
Conduct site safety audits and inspections twice weekly
Attend weekly safety meetings and provide summary reports
Enforce OSHA, NFPA, and site-specific standards
Review and create Pre-Task Plans (PTPs) for work activities
Collaborate with Foremen to correct safety deficiencies
Support incident investigation and implement corrective actions
Maintain accurate safety records and documentation
Skills :
Proficient understanding of electrical safety and NFPA 70E compliance
Strong leadership and collaboration with project teams and subcontractors
Ability to identify hazards and develop corrective actions
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and safety management software
Knowledge Base :
Comprehensive understanding of construction safety, electrical installation, and regulatory compliance. Prior experience supporting electrical or industrial construction projects is highly preferred.
