Job Description
We’re seeking an experienced Manufacturing Supervisor to lead production operations in a dynamic, high-performance defense manufacturing environment. This leadership role is responsible for supervising production associates, ensuring on-time delivery of quality products, and promoting a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of 15-20 hourly production associates.
Ensure a safe work environment by proactively identifying and correcting unsafe conditions.
Manage staffing levels, training programs, and performance evaluations.
Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly production standups to set priorities and allocate assignments.
Collaborate with program management, engineering, and other teams to mitigate risks and achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.
Foster a positive and productive work culture, promoting open communication and employee engagement.
Drive operational excellence through lean manufacturing principles and process improvements.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required (equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered).
2+ years of experience leading teams in a manufacturing environment.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments and manage priorities effectively.
Vantage Clear or equivalent security clearance required.
