Sr Buyer / Contract Specialist

We are looking for a Sr Buyer / Contract Specialist to join our Pittsburgh (Cheswick) location.

Your Responsibilities :

The ideal candidate will have deep experience in contract law / terms and conditions, along with prior procurement experience. The individual's primary role will be to review and negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers, ensuring compliance and favorable terms for the organization. In addition, the individual will support purchasing activities, including processing of requisitions, requests for quotes, purchase orders, supplier / part status, and supplier relationships.

Your Challenge :

• Departmental lead for evaluating and negotiating contract / business terms and conditions with suppliers.
• Interfacing with Curtiss Wright Corporate Legal Team as required as part of supplier terms and conditions negotiations and purchase order claims / settlements.
• Supports procurement activities, including :

Evaluates bids, selects and recommends suppliers and negotiates price, delivery, quality and service.
