Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position requiring a DC RN license and proficiency in moderate sedation.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Position is in the Interventional Radiology unit of a hospital
  • Day shift schedule with 4x10 hour shifts from 7 : 00 AM to 5 : 30 PM
  • On-call required one weekend every 4-6 weeks and every other week on weekdays
  • Possible float to cath lab holding area
  • Responsibilities include administering moderate sedation and collaborating with the IR team to care for procedural patients
  • Compliance with specific RTO and attendance policies is required for periop travelers
  • Must not have worked for the health system in the past year to be eligible
  • Modules and specialty orientation are completed prior to and potentially during onboarding
  • Local candidates within 60 miles are accepted at a different pay rate

  • Active DC RN license required at the time of consideration
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology, cath lab, procedural areas, ICU, or ER
  • Experience with moderate sedation administration needed
  • Proven IV start skills required
  • Two supervisor references required for consideration
