Schedule 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 30 AM, Every Other Weekend Job Description Functioning within the Health System's mission, vision, and values, the Registered Nurse assumes responsibility and accountability for the care of assigned patients during their shift. The RN is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care using age-specific criteria, making judgments based on scientific knowledge and clinical skills. Additionally, the RN assists in planning, directing, and teaching non-RN staff such as LPN / PCT and Unit Secretaries. Responsibilities Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Utilize age-specific criteria in care practices. Provide direction and support to non-RN staff. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure 1 years of experience required; immediate open heart recovery experience preferred, with at least 3 years of recent experience. Current BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS certifications are required; no certifications can pend. TNCC certification is highly preferred. Must be willing to float to all units within skill level.
