Electrical Engineering Manager – Spaceflight Hardware Development : Are you ready to lead and inspire a talented engineering team creating cutting-edge spaceflight hardware? At Moog, we design advanced systems that include hardware, firmware, software, and comprehensive documentation for space missions. Our spaceflight hardware typically features embedded Single Board Computers (SBCs) interfacing with custom analog and digital I / O boards for Command & Data Handling (C&DH), alongside Electrical Power System (EPS) boards for power management, solar array switching, and battery charging.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a dynamic, matrixed team of 10-15 engineers, fostering growth and collaboration.
• Allocate talent efficiently to meet project needs and encourage a positive, creative engineering culture.
• Champion continuous improvement in design processes, ensuring compliance with company and customer policies.
• Provide expert technical guidance and support to your team.
• Select and equip your team with the best tools and technology to excel.
• Track progress rigorously to ensure on-time delivery of high-quality designs.
• Lead fault analysis efforts, supporting robust, reliable designs.
• Review and provide insightful feedback on circuit analyses, board-level designs, electrical schematics, and layouts.
• Act as a key contributor during design reviews, validating adherence to internal standards and customer requirements.

Salary

Phoenix, AZ $175,000.00–$195,000.00 Annually

Salary Range Disclosure

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is one component of Moog's total compensation package. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, employee stock purchase plan, paid time off, and region-specific benefits.

This position requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
