Job Summary

Manages a sourcing / commodity purchasing strategy that supports the organization's supply chain.

Job Requirements

• Developing policies and procedures relating to the organization's sourcing / commodity purchasing function.
• Leading activities of purchasing decision making, providers identification and purchase agreements negotiation, in compliance with standards and the budget.
• Scheduling purchases in order to meet production schedules while minimizing overhead. Adjusting and improving purchasing schedule as needed in response to market supply or demand.
• Managing staffing, development, and performance management programs for sourcing / commodity procurement teams; managing, motivating, and developing project and team leaders.

Education

IC - Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience.Mgr & Exec - Typically requires a minimum of 3 years of related experience.
