You will be :

The Director of Fulfillment Operations is a senior leadership role in the Supply Chain and Distribution organization at Saks Global. Reporting to the AVP of Network Transformation, this role is responsible for setting high standards and goals for one of Saks Global's distribution centers and ensuring that these standards and goals are achieved. This role collaborates with fulfillment technology, inventory planning, merchandising, order management and other internal & external stakeholders.

What you will do :

• Oversee all activities at the distribution center, including : production efficiency, operational safety, inventory, and shipping / receiving functions to meet customers' needs.
• Manage budget and controls expenses to ensure the organization's financial benchmarks are met.
• Manage all labor plans including short term, mid-term plans, including bottoms up department plans and overall FC labor solver.
• Develop, implement, and monitor day-to-day operational systems and processes that provide visibility into goals, progress, and obstacles for our key initiatives
• Build and maintain relationships with all department heads, external partners, and vendors to make decisions regarding operational activity and strategic goals
• Plan, monitor, and analyze key metrics for the day-to-day performance of the operations to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks
• Creates an environment of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Ensures the distribution center adheres to company policies and administers practices in a fair and equitable manner.
• Driving employees and leading performance reviews, 360 feedback, all hands, all manager meetings, to ensure an engaged and skilled workforce.
• Be an ambassador for Saks leadership fundamentals

Salary and other benefits :

The salary range for this position is $118,000 to $153,000 per year. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include market, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
