• Facilitates, implements, and evaluates the Patient Plan of Care and outcomes.\n
• Collaborates with the health care team to promote positive patient outcomes. Is seen as a patient advocate. Timely implementation of nursing interventions.\n
• Technical Skills : demonstrates appropriate clinical skills and technical competence in providing patient care.\n
• Critical Thinking : demonstrates appropriate clinical judgment. Assesses, analyzes and communicates patient information in a timely manner.\n
• Documentation : \nAccurately and promptly documents all patient assessments, interventions , responses and provider communication. Assess patient safety risk factors and identifies those patients requiring specific safety interventions including skin integrity, fall risk & appropriate use of restraints. Follows medication safety policy. Promptly initiates appropriate interventions for safety needs. Completes Safety Tracking Tools as required.\n
• Delegation and supervision : supervises assigned staff, delegates appropriately, takes responsibility for all care provided to patients assigned. Reports all performance issues of team members to ensure all patients receive appropriate care and attention.\n
• Educational needs of patient : \nAssesses educational needs of patient and family, provides appropriate written and verbal instructions. Documents assessment and education provided.\n
• Provider orders : \nPerforms ongoing review, initiation and implementation of patient orders in a timely manner every shift.\n
• Prioritization : prioritizes responsibilities and issues, taking into account urgency, patient needs, and seeks appropriate resources. Problem solves independently. Multitasks efficiently and demonstrates effective time management skills.\n
