The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and developing the overall operation of the housekeeping department in accordance with federal, state, and local standards and guidelines, while ensuring the highest degree of quality guest care. Responsibilities include staffing, scheduling, training, and developing hourly staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily activities of the Housekeeping department
• Plan, organize, and direct team members to ensure the highest degree of guest satisfaction
• Supervise all housekeeping employees; hire new employees as needed, discharge when necessary, and take disciplinary actions when policies are not followed
• Purchase, re-order, and maintain housekeeping supplies and inventory
• Maintain knowledge of OSHA and safety standards within the Housekeeping department
• Prepare the Annual Housekeeping Budget
