Position Overview
The CRNA will provide professional anesthesia services in compliance with established hospital protocols and national standards. The role includes pre-operative evaluations, intraoperative anesthesia management, and post-operative care in a collaborative and team-oriented environment.

Perform pre-op screenings and post-op assessmentsDeliver anesthesia care across various surgical services in the ORCollaborate with surgical, nursing, pharmacy, and billing teams to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality patient careParticipate in quality assurance and regulatory compliance initiatives (e.g., DNV, ISO 9001, CMS)Complete medical records, billing documentation, and encounter coding within required timelinesMaintain secure handling of medications, supplies, and documentationRespond to BTLC communications in a timely mannerSupport on-time case starts and promote service efficiencyParticipate in departmental meetings and continual improvement initiativesRequirements
Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia programActive New York CRNA licenseBoard Certification in Anesthesiology (as applicable for supervising anesthesiologist roles)Current ACLS certification (must be renewed every 2 years)DEA certificationPrevious hospital-based anesthesia experience preferred
