SUMMARY OF POSITION : As a shift Leader for Hardee's, he or she will be in charge of running the entire store operation while on the shift. Shift Leaders need to have excellent organizational and managerial skills because he or she will be responsible for managing ten to fifteen employees all at the same time, depending on how large the store is. The need to make sure that all employees are following the food safety procedures implemented by the company, not to mention doing some minor tasks like completing paperwork before the shift ends, doing inventory of all the supplies, evaluating cash drawers, and also making bank deposits.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Prerequisites :
Education : High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
Experience and Skills : Experience in restaurant operations, but not required. Requires excellent communication skills, ability to deal with all levels of employees. Computer knowledge is desirable .
Physical : Must be able to work any area of the restaurant when needed and to operate a computerized Point of Sale system / cash register. Position requires bending, standing, and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
