Network Operations - Senior

Engineer resilience at enterprise scale - keep PKI issuance and validation always on. Bailey Information Technology, LLC is hiring!

Position Summary

Senior NetOps provides Tier-III engineering and operations for CAs, validation services, HSMs, servers, virtualization, and storage to ensure resilient PKI services across MCEN.

Clearance & Certifications

  • Active TS / SCI.
  • U.S. citizen; favorably adjudicated background per contract.
  • PKI Ops & Maintenance experience (Microsoft ADCS / EJBCA / OCSP).
  • Security+ (or higher); scripting / automation proficiency.

Location of Performance

  • Primary : MCCOG - Quantico, VA.
  • Secondary : Support to continuity / secondary sites (e.g., Camp Pendleton).
  • On-site mission-essential for core sustainment.

    • Key Responsibilities

  • Engineer, deploy, and maintain CA stacks; manage CRLs and OCSP / VA services.
  • Administer and harden HSMs; coordinate with vendors for firmware and DR.
  • Maintain server / virtualization / SAN health and capacity; execute COOP / DR.
  • Lead Tier-III incident response and root-cause analysis; implement remediations.
  • Develop PowerShell / automation to improve reliability and repeatability.
  • Coordinate change / event management and weekly status reporting.

    • Performance Measures & Deliverables

  • Target ?99.97% service availability (ex-maintenance); timely CRL / OCSP updates.
  • IAVA / STIG compliance within required timelines; prompt high-severity remediation.
  • Weekly Event Management Status Reports; configuration baselines; COOP / DR artifacts.
