ACO Coordinator

Your Job : The ACO Coordinator supports the Senior Vice President Contract Strategy and Population Health, VP Value Based Care / CMO MPCACO, ACO Clinical Director and ACO Program Manager along with other team professionals working to manage the operations of the MAP2 ACO. He or she must relate in a professional manner to co-workers, hospital administrators, physicians, Medicare Beneficiaries, the general public and others to represent the department and the health system and work closely with the public relations team. This position is responsible for organizing and coordinating projects to ensure the success of the goals of the ACO organization.

Your Job Requirements :

  • Bachelor's Degree or similar work experience Bachelor's degree not necessarily a MUST, but in lieu of the degree that much have extensive experience in healthcare or similar settings.
  • Prefer 1-5 experience in public relations, journalism, and project coordination or relation field
  • Expert skill level using MS Office suite-MS word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with hospital staff, media, vendors, volunteers and the public
  • Must have excellent vocabulary skills and a demonstrated ability in English and grammar

Your Job Responsibilities :

  • Provide administrative support to CMO and VP including managing meeting requests and schedule on his / her behalf.
  • Schedule meetings and reserve rooms as appropriate
  • Prepare handout materials and computers and / or projector for presentations as needed
  • Maintain department calendar on MPCACO SharePoint site to manage and communicate MPCACO
  • Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payment status
  • Interact directly with physician offices to coordinate projects necessary for the success of the ACO
  • Spirit employee newsletter and other publications as assigned using journalist writing techniques and conforming to the Methodist style
  • Work in coordination with the Public Relations department to distribute e-newsletter to ACO physicians and to monitor and maintain the ACO website
  • Prepare and distribute required communication to Medicare Beneficiaries as requested
  • Work independently to perform duties and responsibilities; interact with vendors, volunteers, committee members and other departments as delegated; independently interact with other department's personnel for advice as necessary in the pursuit of efficiently completing projects
  • Other duties as assigned
