Hazen and Sawyer is seeking an entry-level engineer for our Boise office. As part of our design and process teams, you will work on water and wastewater projects, including drinking water / wastewater / reuse treatment facility upgrades and conveyance systems planning and design.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Assist in preparing engineering deliverables, including sampling studies, condition assessments, process modeling, hydraulics, and design reports
  • Manage data for process modeling and design
  • Attend client and internal project management meetings
  • Coordinate with manufacturers and vendors to select equipment
  • Support multiple projects from planning through construction
  • Participate in fieldwork and site visits (mostly in-state)

    • Required Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental, civil, or chemical engineering
  • Coursework background in water / wastewater treatment with strong interest in the water / wastewater industry
  • Strong communication skills, self-motivation, organization, and attention to detail
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience within the water / wastewater industry

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • EIT certification
  • Conducts self-quality reviews before submitting work for additional QA / QC
