The practice supports strategic innovation priorities, improves operational efficiency, and embeds compliance across the R&D value chain (discovery, pre-clinical, clinical, translational, post-market surveillance / real-world evidence) in life sciences and healthcare settings.
The Opportunity
This senior role within EY's Consulting practice offers the opportunity to support and lead client engagements, build solutions, and drive market innovation. You will work with large pharma, biotechnology, academic medical centers, health systems, cancer centers, and more, focusing on areas such as strategic planning, business transformation, operating model optimization, clinical trial acceleration, complex data analytics, research compliance and regulatory affairs, and technology implementation support.
Your Key Responsibilities
A majority of your time will be spent supporting client engagement teams and delivering professional services in life sciences and health domains.

To Qualify for the Role
Bachelor's degree in business, life sciences, health, or a related field3-4 years of relevant experience in management consulting in life sciences and / or health, and / or direct industry experience in an R&D settingWorking knowledge of key R&D functions including preclinical research, clinical trial execution / development, regulatory affairs, and quality or safety functionsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience applying structured consulting methodsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to synthesize complex issues into actionable insightsProficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPointDemonstrated executive presence and professionalism in client-facing settingsWillingness to travel based on project requirementsIdeally, You'll Also Have
Advanced degree (MBA, MS, PhD) in life sciences, business, public health, or related fieldPrior R&D / clinical trials / clinical development consulting experienceExperience supporting R&D transformations, operating model design, or process optimizationFamiliarity with regulatory frameworks (GxP, ICH, FDA) and compliance requirements in R&DExperience with tools such as clinical trial management systems (CTMS)What We Look For
