GENERAL SUMMARY
Under limited supervision and general guidelines, the Service Technician will set up, test, adjust, and check complex infusion units and electro / mechanical systems.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Generate and maintain test records.
- Perform rework, testing and troubleshooting of failed or returned products.
- Perform duties in a safe, non-hazardous manner in compliance with safety standards within a timely fashion meeting production deadline.
- Meet or exceed productivity metrics and performance expectations as defined by Operations Supervisor.
- Perform individual tasks as assigned; establish and maintain effective, professional, and respectful work relationships within the department and corporate community.
- Maintain professional competence, knowledge, and skills necessary for the satisfactory performance of all assigned responsibilities.
- Follow ESD policy & practices.
- Maintain and update records of customer pump history throughout the device life cycle.
- Perform repair service of pumps and inspect the repaired pump devices according to the established specifications.

Associate degree or equivalent level of education or experience in Biomedical or related science area.Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written.Capably perform basic mathematics and calculations.Successful at working as part of a team.Must be able to perform essential functions and responsibilities independently.Consistently meet daily / weekly projects and assigned tasks.Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, specifically Excel.Read, understand, and adhere to standard operating procedures and department policies.Medical Device industry experience a plus.WORKING CONDITIONS / PHYSICAL DEMANDS
