Position : Material Handler

Location : 4801 Glen Rose Hwy, Granbury, TX 76048

Shift : Monday - Friday, 3 : 00 P.M. - 11 : 00 P.M.

Job Description :

The Material Handler maintains production and distribution of products by pulling orders from inventory; delivering production materials and supplies; staging finished products. Performs manual and clerical duties related to shipping, receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing and delivering a variety of materials, equipment and supplies.

Essential Functions :

• Cross-train in various warehouse functions including shipping, receiving, job issuing / staging, and material handling / storage.
• Exercise judgment in making minor decisions that impact the accuracy and quality of work.
• Operate within our Syspro system, ensuring accurate data entry and utilizing associated record systems for transaction research.
• Work autonomously with minimal supervision on routine tasks.
• Ensure accuracy in all tasks; errors are quickly identified and corrected.
• Maintain routine communication with other departments or work areas to facilitate the flow of materials and information.
• Attend production meetings to stay informed about departmental needs and contribute to overall operational efficiency.
• Foster a culture of safety, striving for an accident-free workplace.
• Promote and maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization within the warehouse environment.
