Principal Data Engineer

A company is looking for a Principal Data Engineer to join their innovative team.

Key Responsibilities

Define and manage the end-to-end data architecture and set standards for data schemas and models

Design and build scalable data pipelines while ensuring data quality and governance

Provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, and translate business goals into data products

Required Qualifications

10+ years in data engineering, with at least 3 years in a senior role

Proven experience in leading data architecture and platform initiatives

Deep knowledge of cloud services (AWS) and modern data warehouses or lakehouses

Strong proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python or Scala / Java)

Experience with orchestration tools, data modeling, and security best practices
