Privacy Officer
The Iowa Department of Transportation, Motor Vehicle Division (MVD), is seeking a Privacy Officer to join the leadership team of the Systems and Administration Bureau as the team lead to our Privacy Team! The priority responsibility of this role is to provide key guidance to the teams of the Motor Vehicle Division regarding qualifying access to Iowa's vehicle and driver's license information under state and federal Driver's Privacy and Protection Act laws (DPPA) while managing other responsibilities such as :
As the Privacy Team Lead, it is this role's responsibility to foster growth and support for its reporting team through the five core values of the department : Safety First, People Matter, Customer Focused, Servant Leadership, and Integrity Without Exception. By ensuring our Core Values are a top priority, this position will help support the Iowa DOT's Mission of Making Lives Better Through Transportation.
This position offers a flexible and hybrid schedule with a reporting office location of the Motor Vehicle Division building in Ankeny, Iowa.
