About the Family & Social Services Administration (FSSA) : The Division of Disability and Rehabilitative Services manages the delivery of services to children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and has two overarching responsibilities : to facilitate partnerships that enhance the quality of life for children and adults with physical and cognitive disabilities; and to provide them with continuous, life-long support.
The Bureau of Disabilities Services (BDS) provides services for individuals with developmental disabilities that enable them to live as independently as possible in their communities. BDS assists individuals in receiving community supports and residential services using a person-centered plan to help determine which services are needed and who can best provide them. BDS also monitors the quality of care and the facilities of those who are approved to provide these services in Indiana.
Role Overview : This role provides regional management and oversight to Bureau of Disabilities (BDS) Services Field Offices in an assigned District. The Field Services Director leads District Managers and their staffs in utilizing a person-centered approach when engaging with individuals and families, managing resources, and monitoring service outcomes. You will also assist in the development of policy and procedure and maintain productive organizational and provider relations. Some travel may be required. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of seven (7) year's work experience in program coordination; development; implementation; or accredited college training in a related field.
Salary Statement : The salary for this position traditionally starts at $67,314.00 but may be commensurate with education or work experience.

This position is exempt from overtime compensation for additional work hours which may be required to complete essential functions or other assigned work. Exempt employees may work more than 75 hours in a pay period without additional compensation and must report a minimum of 75 hours per pay period of work hours and / or paid leave taken to receive their base biweekly salary.
