Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full-time Process Mold Tech to join our top-tier custom manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of injection molding processes, exceptional troubleshooting abilities, and a proven track record in mold set-up and optimization. This role is crucial in maintaining our reputation for producing high-quality custom parts and components for various industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and maintain injection molding machines and associated equipment
- Perform mold changes and set-ups efficiently and accurately
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to injection molding processes, machinery, and molds
- Optimize molding parameters to ensure consistent product quality and maximize efficiency
- Monitor and control the injection molding process, making adjustments as necessary
- Conduct regular preventive maintenance on injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment
- Inspect molded parts for quality and conformance to specifications
- Document process parameters, quality control data, and maintenance activities
- Collaborate with engineering and quality control teams to improve processes and product quality
- Train and mentor junior technicians in injection molding techniques and best practices
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing projects
