Technology Finance Manager

Responsibilities

  • Lead development and oversight of annual operating and capital budgets across IT initiatives, departments, and enterprise projects.
  • Track financial performance, cash flows, and spend against historical business cases, ensuring alignment with long-term value expectations.
  • Evaluate outcomes to determine realized benefits, including measurable savings / revenue and qualitative improvements such as efficiency, quality, or risk reduction.
  • Prepare and deliver financial reporting on operating and capital budgets for senior leadership.
  • Partner with IT leaders and project managers to build data-driven business cases and ROI models for technology investments.
  • Monitor expenditures, assess financial risk, and support resource allocation decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional finance leaders to identify ROI opportunities and gather key data inputs.
  • Provide regular updates to executive stakeholders, highlighting variances, forecasts, and performance metrics.
  • Strengthen and maintain financial processes, compliance standards, and internal controls.
  • Support audits and ensure accurate documentation of all IT financial activities.
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial planning, reporting, and workflows.

Requirements

  • 4+ years in finance management with strong focus on managing budgets for IT / technology projects.
  • Background in healthcare.
  • Proven experience with ROI / business case development, forecasting, and modeling.
  • Skilled in financial analysis, value realization, and reporting tools (ERP, BI, etc.).
  • Advanced Excel expertise.
  • Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, IT, or Business.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills; detail-oriented with a proactive mindset.
  • Pass a background and drug test.

  • Full-time, direct hire role located in Marietta, GA. Onsite presence typically twice per month. Relocation support available.
