Sylvan is currently hiring Part-Time Tutors at our Schaumburg and Lake Zurich / Barrington, IL locations!

We are hiring Part-Time tutors and provide in-person tutoring for students K-12 :

• Reading / English Tutor
• Math Tutor
• Early Elementary Reading Tutor
• Beginning Reading Tutor
• TestPrep (ACT / SAT) Tutor
• Writing Tutor
• Study Skills Tutor
• Tutors do not need proficiency in all areas above.  We schedule to your area(s) of interest.

Skills and Qualities necessary :

Sylvan Learning Centers are the industry leaders in providing supplemental education to children in pre-K through 12th grade. We provide individualized instruction in Comprehension, Reading, English, Writing, Math and Study Skills. We also offer ACT / SAT Test Prep and STEM.

We teach 7 days per week and require our teachers to work at least one of Saturday / Sunday, and at least one day during the week. We have extended teaching opportunities in the summer, where we add morning hours.
