St. Paul Academy and Summit School (SPA) is a coeducational, non-sectarian, college preparatory day school serving more than 920 students in kindergarten through grade 12. Our two campuses are located approximately a mile apart in St. Paul, Minnesota, serving Grades K-5 on our Goodrich Campus and Grades 6-12 on our Randolph Campus. The school draws students from St. Paul, Minneapolis, and throughout the eastern and western suburbs.

Salary Range : $25-$35 a day based on experience and education
Position Description :
The Health Assistant is an integral part of the school community, providing students with vital healthcare services and working with the school team to ensure that there are safe, healthy, and clean conditions for learning. A substitute nurse is needed for when our Licensed School Nurse or Health Assistants are out sick or need predetermined days off. Duties include (but are not limited to) administration of lunchtime medications, including diabetic care, administration of basic first aid, supporting students with chronic health conditions when needed (e.g., asthma, seizure, anaphylaxis, etc), and assisting in documentation and tracking of health office visits and / or absence from school due to illness. Students range in age from 5 to 18, spread across two different campuses. The Goodrich Campus serves students in grades K-5, while the Randolph Campus serves students in grades 6-12.
An orientation will be provided to ensure competence. These are on-call, daily assignments. Candidates are expected to support the mission of SPA.
