Job Description

Every role at Trove Brands is critical to our success. As In-house Legal Counsel you will provide creative and proactive legal guidance as part of a dynamic, highly engaged legal team that loves working at Trove Brands. The right person for this role must have a strong entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to contribute to a constantly evolving, growing business. The ideal candidate will be energetic, business-minded, smart, emotionally intelligent, and contribute to the positive culture that is so important to our company. Your specific responsibilities as a part of our team will be based on the business’s needs as well as your expertise. Title will be determined based on level of experience. Your responsibilities will include :

• Collaborate and build relationships with internal stakeholders and outside counsel.
• Assesses, manage, and anticipate organizational risk and support the company’s business with prompt, sound legal advice.
• Contribute to process improvement.
• Stay on top of changing laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Develop and implement practices and standards that support innovation and growth while maintaining appropriate commercial risk.
• Communicate potential issues clearly and concisely to stakeholders, to resolve in a timely manner.
• Anything else that arises to support a fast-pace, innovative company.

Qualifications

We’re looking for employees who can contribute their personal expertise in a collaborative work environment. For this role, we’re looking for someone with the following qualifications, skills and experience :

Product safety, product liability, and regulatory compliance.
