The technician will install, repair, and maintain production-line equipment and work on electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. A basic understanding of Lock Out / Tag Out procedures is required.
- Perform scheduled maintenance and repair equipment breakdowns.
- Complete daily maintenance and downtime logs and ensure mechanic paperwork is accurate and submitted promptly.
- Assist with general building maintenance.
- Maintain records and support cost analysis.
- Order supplies using the requisition database.
- Follow GMPs and established safety procedures.
- Some electrical wiring experience required.
- Knowledge of PLCs required; programming is not necessary but a fundamental understanding is expected.
- Able to read schematics, blueprints, and diagrams.
- Fabrication and welding skills are a plus.
- Strong troubleshooting and electro-mechanical repair skills.
- Able to climb ladders and lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Capable of operating a forklift.
- Effective communication skills to convey critical information to production teams and subsequent shifts.
- Available for weekend and overtime work.
