• Prepare and record journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Conduct detailed reconciliations of accounts to maintain financial accuracy.
• Manage month-end close activities, ensuring deadlines are met and reports are complete.
• Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and propose solutions.
• Support accounts payable processes with precision and adherence to company policies.
• Collaborate with retail-focused teams to align accounting practices with business needs.
• Utilize specialized accounting tools, such as About Time, to enhance efficiency.
• Assist in identifying process improvements to optimize accounting workflows.
• Maintain compliance with industry standards and best practices in all accounting operations.
• Proven experience in accounting, particularly within the manufacturing or retail industry.
• Expertise in performing reconciliations and handling journal entries.
• Familiarity with month-end close procedures and related tasks.
• Proficiency in using accounting tools, such as About Time, is highly desirable.
• Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data.
