Laundry Attendant
The laundry attendant ensures clean linens are provided to the hotel daily for ultimate guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities :
- Must attend all pre-shift meetings and annual training sessions.
- Sort, wash, dry, press all linens for the hotel, fitness center, and spa
- Take inventory of all laundry soaps
- Change laundry soaps as needed
- Ensure all stains are treated according to procedure
- Inventory all linen throughout the hotel as needed
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Remove trash daily
- Monitor wash cycles and report deficiencies
- Participate in training of heavy machinery use including the presser, washers, and dryers.
- Must be well organized and possess good time management skills.
- Must have the ability to work independently, but also work as a team
Minimum Qualifications :
Must be able to speak and understand English.Basic reading, writing, and math skillsExperience :
Must have janitorial, laundry or housekeeping experience.Luxury hotel experience preferred.Skills :
