Locum Physician (MD / DO) - Cardiology - General / Other in New York

We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Cardiologist with a valid NY license for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in New York. Starting Nov 24, 2025, this opportunity offers a Monday through Friday schedule with half-day shifts split between clinic and hospital settings. The selected locum will be handling stress tests, EKGs, echocardiograms, and other cardiology cases. There is also a chance for an extension with this opportunity. Job Details Location : New York Start Date : Nov 24, 2025 LOA : 60 days Provider Type Needed : Cardiologist Schedule : Hospital and testing reads 8 : 30 am – 12 pm; Clinic 12 : 30 pm – 5 pm; Monday–Friday, two weeks per month Responsibilities and Duties Split time between clinic and hospital settings See 15 to 18 clinic patients per day with scribe support Perform treadmill stress tests, nuclear medicine stress tests, echo stress, Holter monitoring, EKGs, and echocardiograms Conduct hospital rounds and handle approximately 35 consults per week No emergency department coverage or on-call responsibilities Additional Information BC / BE in General Cardiology required New York medical license required Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
