Description
SUMMARY
Under moderate supervision, interns will provide industrial and manufacturing support using Lean tools and Continuous Improvement methodologies. Interns will develop their knowledge and skills by participating in projects in team settings as well as on an individual basis. Interns will regularly work on projects that will require brainstorming new ideas and sometimes involve physical, hands-on work. Interns will provide regular updates on ongoing projects and deliver project results upon their conclusion.
QUALIFICATIONS :
TRAVEL
Travel will be minimal.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as technical specifications, professional journals, and blueprints. Must have the ability to write routine reports and documentations, as well as be able to speak effectively within the organization.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. To be successful one must have the ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
COMPUTER SKILLS
To perform this job successfully, and individual should be proficient in the Microsoft Office suite specifically Outlook, Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint software.
OTHER SKILLS
Professional e-mail, written and oral communication is required.

The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in the office setting. The manufacturing environment will be noisy, climate is less controlled and where PPE will be required.
